‘Selected Events’ 2010 – extra guests, in-stores & aftershow parties

We have lots of news to give you about extra activities surrounding the Recoil tour…

Firstly, an extra special guest has been added to the bill at El Rey theatre in Los Angeles.

SONOIO (Alessandro Cortini of NIN) will be joining us to play a unique set focusing on his latest album. A former member of Nine Inch Nails who has worked with Ladytron and HEALTH, Cortini is celebrating the release of his self-titled solo effort by making it available in a variety of packages. In a rare offering, fans can buy a digital download of SONOIO, an exclusive EP and a SONOIO – a custom-built portable synthesizer designed by Cortini and Scott Jaeger (The Harvestman).

There is the chance to download the first four songs from the album for free at http://sonoio.org. We’re very glad to have him along for this special evening.

Don’t forget we also have the DM/Recoil aftershow party with DJ Daniel Barassi. Tickets are going fast for this evening so make sure you snap yours up soon.

'Selected Events' 2010 BRAZIL SHOW ADDED! (SAO PAULO)

EN : 05/10/10 - 'Selected Events' 2010 BRAZIL SHOW ADDED!

		Great news - after the weight of demand and many efforts of sheer will, we have managed to secure a date in Brazil to add to Recoil's South American tour. Says Alan: "Brazil has been the missing piece for a while now and I'm very excited to be able to let all the people who have been writing in know about this possibility. So many have contacted us at Shunt from Brazil demanding to know why there wasn't anything planned. Now we can finally give them this positive news!" 'A Strange Hour' will be presented in São Paulo at Inferno Club on November 10th - full details below.

The exact line up is still to be finalised and we will bring you that as soon as we have any more info. There will be extra DJs so expect a proper Brazilian-style party!

Nouvelle date de concert pour la tournée SELECTED au BRESIL !!

		Grande nouvelle après bien des demandes et pas mal d'efforts et de volonté de notre part nous avons réussi à boucler une date au Brésil pour s'ajouter à la tournée de Recoil en Amérique du Sud. Alan nous dit :  " Le Brésil a toujours été le lieu qui nous manquait  /"the missing piece"  depuis longtemps et je suis très heureux  de faire connaitre cette datte à toutes les personnes qui m'ont écrites à ce sujet. De nombreuses personnes ont contactés Shunt depuis le Brésil afin de savoir pourquoi aucune date n'était programmée . Nous pouvons maintenant leur répondre positivement pour cette tournée"  'A Strange Hour' sera présenté à  São Paulo au Inferno Club le  10 Novembre 10 - Tous les détails ci dessous.

La composition finale de cette date est en cours de finsalisation et nous vous en informerons dès que nous aurons plus d'informations.  Il  y aura des Dj supplémentaires donc attendez vous à une bonne ambiance brésilienne pour cette soirée !

		For Recoil's final two German dates, we are very pleased to announce that Gary Numan and Ade Fenton with be taking part as special guest DJs just prior to Recoil's performance. These presentations will take place in Berlin at Postbahnhof on Friday 26th November and in Dresden at Zeitenstroemung on Saturday 27th November. Warning - tickets for these events are selling fast! 'Selected Events' 2010 - Dallas and Hamilton shows added!

19/08/10 - 'Selected Events' 2010 - Dallas and Hamilton shows added!

More dates have been added into Recoil’s US tour. We couldn’t leave Texas out so ‘A Strange Hour’ will be presented in Dallas at Trees on Saturday 16th October. We hear that the ‘Trees’ venue is legendary and, following the great event in Austin last spring, Alan is very happy to be coming back to the Lone Star State. In fact, this will be the opening US event on the tour so come along and be the first to witness the new additions to Recoil’s presentation.

Architect will also be appearing and there will almost certainly be a special Recoil/DM party afterwards (Alan will attend) which your show ticket will allow you access to. So bring along your CDs and vinyl if you want to get those signed – more details on that very soon.

Due to ticket demands in Canada, Recoil will also be appearing in Hamilton, Ontario at This Ain’t Hollywood on 29th October.  Architect & Conjure One will also be on the bill for this one. This venue is a bit more compact than the others and has an unusual set up. Alan & Paul plan an adapted presentation using multiple plasma screens.
